Sweet, juicy homegrown strawberries are one of my favorite parts of summer. We grow lots of them in our front yard garden each year. See how easy it is to grow great strawberries.

I often find the kids sitting outside, eating giant strawberries right off the plant!

Whether you’re getting strawberries from your garden or a roadside stand, your whole family will love these creamy strawberry yogurt popsicles. They’re delicious, healthy, and will keep you cool during the hot days of summer.

Why buy yogurt pops when you could make them? These would also be tasty with blueberries, raspberries, or any combination of fresh fruit you like.

Instructions

If you want smooth yogurt pops, put all the strawberries in a blender and puree until smooth.

If you prefer a chunky or textured strawberry popsicle, slice some strawberries thinly and set them aside before blending the rest.

Put the yogurt and honey in a large bowl and whisk together.

Add the strawberry puree and mix together just until incorporated.

Scoop or pour into popsicle molds (adding the sliced strawberries as desired) and freeze for several hours to overnight.

Looks delish! Must you use full fat yogurt? Can you get away with low fat or nonfat?

Full fat will give you the best creaminess! It should work with low fat, but we haven’t tried it.
